Unaware she's been bound from using magic, Frey leads a small, miserable life in the village where she's sent after the death of her mother. But a tiny spark starts a fury of changes and she finds hersef running from everything she's ever known.
Hunted by council for practicing dark magic, she is certain she's been wrongfully accused. She flees, and is forced to rely on strangers for protection. But the farther she strays from home, the more her magic and forgotten memories return and she begins to suspect all is not as it seems.
My Thoughts:

I love books about the fey and especially ELVES! I've only read like barely a handful of books about elves and Wright told Frey's story spectacularly.

The story starts off in Elvin town! Frey get’s caught up in a massive identity crisis, she really doesn't know who or what she is. An incident happens, and literally a hunt begins and a super hot guy pops up...Frey senses that something just isn’t right.

One thing leads to another and we discover that Frey is no ordinary human. She's’s an elf! Her strength is put to the test, I really liked how finding out that she was an elf(IDK if she knew it yet) was empowering. In the beginning she was soft and as the story progressed she become stronger.

I loved Wright’s take on the fey lore. It was brilliant how she contrasted the somewhat darker world. I don’t know why I feel in love with the setting like I did, but it just worked so well!

AND Chevelle gush... He is too hot for his good, he is protecting and totally loyal. You can't help but root for him. His relationship with Frey...drives me crazy! The chemistry is there, It's so sweet and I was totally swept away.

This book is fun. You will be laughing out loud at points! There are a few serious and dangerous moments, don’t get me wrong it’s not all fun and games. But it’s mostly just a fun ride! You get the front row seat on an epic adventure with Frey and her new friends. Worth every second.

Author Bio:
Melissa lives in the Midwest with her family (including a few spoiled dogs and horses), loves to travel but always misses home, and has little to no spare time. If she ever manages to find some, it's spent painting or outdoors (but never at the same time). Frey is her first novel, but she's been bitten by the writing bug, so expect many more to follow.
