Anything is possible....
Finn has always felt out of place, but suddenly her world is unraveling. It started with The Party. And Adam Porter. And the night in September that changed everything. The only person who knows about that night is Audrey—Finn’s best friend, her witness to everything, and the one person Finn trusts implicitly. So when Finn’s childhood friend Jersy moves back to town—reckless, beautiful Jersy, all lips and eyes and hair so soft you’d want to dip your fingers into it if you weren’t careful—Finn gives her blessing for Audrey to date him. How could she possibly say no to Audrey? With Audrey gone for the summer, though, Finn finds herself spending more and more time with Jersy, and for the first time in her life, something feels right. But Finn can’t be the girl who does this to her best friend...can she?

I've got a special interview for your awesome readers! Today I have an interview with hottie Jersy from ONE LONELY DEGREE!
Thanks so much for joining me today Jersy!
So I hear you’re quite the dare devil...What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
I know Finn thinks that but she exaggerates sometimes – I’m not really that crazy. There is one thing I can think of from the last summer I lived in Kingston though. I was hanging out with some of friends one night and one of them lives really near the railroad tracks. We started talking about trying to catch a freight train but none came by that night. The second night we waited we were able to jump onto a slow moving train. We figured we’d ride it for awhile and then hop off when it slowed down again but it was a couple of hours until that happened and by then we were almost in Quebec. The train wasn’t going as slow as we thought and my friend Mike broke his ankle jumping off and the rest of us got kinda scraped up on the gravel. We practically had to carry Mike to the nearest gas station and then he had to call his older brother to drive all the way out there and pick us up. After that I heard all these horror stories about people who lost their legs jumping freight trains or got attacked by psychos that ride the rails and then it did seem pretty crazy. So, I don’t want to sound like a PSA but I wouldn’t do it again.
When you first saw Finn, what was the first thing that came to your mind?
The first thing was that I could tell she was mad that I was sitting in her seat and for some reason I didn’t want to have her pissed off with me. I think she already seemed familiar and I was trying to figure it out. It was weird. I got this hostility vibe from her but I was still thinking that she was cute. And I wondered how tall she was.
What do you like most about Finn? Does anything about her annoy you?
There are so many things I like about her but one of the rarest is that Finn doesn’t care what other people think. She never does anything just because other people are doing it. She can be stubborn like you wouldn’t believe which is good or bad, depending on the situation. Sometimes I wish she would let loose a little more, just relax. But our ideas of letting loose are different.
What is the one thing you wish other people knew about you?
I think some people assume I’m a player because of what went down with Audrey and Finn. If they want to go on thinking that I don’t care but if they want to know the truth, the truth is that’s not what I’m like. Those things just happened. I didn’t plan it and I really did like Finn first. I didn’t want to come between her and Audrey but those feelings were strong.
Do you have any irrational fears / phobias?
I get sort of claustrophobic in small spaces. I think I would lose it if I had to have an MRI.
Batman or Superman?
Batman. It’s easy to be a superhero when you have superpowers.
What is your most cherished possession?
When I can afford my motorcycle (which will be soon) it will be that. Also I have this pocket watch that doesn’t work but used to be my great grandfather’s. My grandfather gave it to me a couple of years ago.
Dream Car?
I prefer motorcycles to cars and at the top of my list would be a Suzuki Bandit 1200S which is what I’m aiming to buy (secondhand). But if we’re talking four wheels I guess it would have to be a jeep, probably a wrangler.
Tell us something that you have never told anyone, especially Finn.
She doesn’t know (and neither does anyone else) that I had some really personal dreams about her before Audrey and I got together and a couple even after and lots more during the summer. Since she’ll probably see this I guess I better tell her but I’m keeping my mouth shut on most of the details.
What’s next for you?
I won’t be able to do this until the next summer but I want to drive around Ontario and maybe Quebec too and check out places I’ve never been – the little towns you usually zoom by on the highway. This is lame but I’m doing really shitty in math and my parents are going to make me get a tutor, otherwise they say I can’t get the bike. There’s somebody I’ve been hanging out with a lot lately but I can’t say too much about that…
